Arista di Cinta Senese is a typical cured meat from the Tuscan tradition. A genuine product made from pork raised in the Pisan hills by the Il Ruscello farm. Cinta Senese has a tastier flavor than other meats, as the animals are raised in the wild on the Tuscan hills. All cured meats made are gluten-free. The name Arista derives from an exclamation of the Greek Cardinal Bessarione (1439). During a banquet in Florence on the occasion of the ecumenical council, referring to the meat he had just tasted, he pronounced the word Aristos, which translated into Italian means excellent.
