dGiusto alle Balze is a Merlot red wine produced by the Podere Marcampo di Volterra farm, which goes perfectly with red meats, stewed second courses, cheeses, risottos and elaborate sauces. The vineyard is located on soils rich in Pliocene clays with a 40% clay fraction, alkaline pH rich in salts and minerals. Its ruby red color is intense, on the nose you can perceive its floral and fruity aroma from cherry to blackberries and plums, with a prevalence of spicy notes and hints of liquorice, chocolate, graphite and pepper. On the palate it expresses itself with great power and balance. A compact and persistent Tuscan wine, fruity, fresh, savory with important tannins. A wine that will surprise you.
