San Germano Passito IGT Tuscan
San Germano Passito IGT Tuscan
San Germano is a Passito from the Ghizzano Estate. It has its roots in the most ancient traditions of the village of Ghizzano, obviously in Tuscany. A pleasant dessert wine made with Trebbiano, Malvasia bianca and Colombana grapes. After the harvest, the grapes are left to dry hanging in a cool, dry place for four months and then destemmed and pressed. The must is subsequently transferred into small oak barrels, so that it can ferment for 3 and a half years. A fantastic sweet dessert wine!. It has a beautiful bright amber yellow color, on the nose we perceive the smell of spices in general, dried fruit, in particular figs and apricots, with a harmonious taste with a good balance between alcohol, sugar residues and acidity.
