Company Il Podere La Chiesa is located near the village of Casanova di Terricciola, in the Province of Pisa, on the road that leads to Volterra. The land is 125 meters above sea level, planted mainly with Sangiovese, in an optimal position for viticulture where the breeze from the Tyrrhenian Sea can also arrive to complete this unique terroir. Story As early as the 1990s, Palma and Maurizio's passion for wine began to grow, and in the new millennium they left their jobs to dedicate themselves exclusively to viticulture and wine. Falling in love with the Casanova area, they decided that it was the ideal place to turn their dream into reality. Work The vines used for the production of its wines are definitely those of the Tuscan tradition where Sangiovese plays the lion's share: but also reds such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot have found a pedoclimatic environment in which to best express their potential. Even the production of white wines based on Trebbiano and Vermentino still confirms the desire to maintain Tuscany in its wines.
