L'Opera in Rosso is a DOC wine that comes from vineyards facing south-west, which have been growing on clay soil rich in fossil shells for 20 years now. Of the two new wines, this is the "brother" Sangiovese and is the result of a selection of the best grapes of this type. The long period of refinement (24 months) in barrels gives this wine the right roundness to the tannins, combined with a natural structure making it elegant but at the same time extremely present in the mouth. Its characteristics mean that Opera in Rosso is an excellent expression among the most representative and authentic products of the Pisan Hills, fully representing the territoriality of these splendid lands.
