Company The Il Ruscello farm was founded by Guido Nenna, a lover of nature, animals, and the Tuscan countryside, where he decided to live to pursue his passions.

Story Guido Nenna, a Brescian, began to explore the landscapes of the Valdera as a child thanks to his uncle, who lived and owned land in the area. It was his uncle who helped him understand that his path lies in nature, with its rhythms and cycles. As soon as he turned twenty, he decided to move permanently to Chianni, in the province of Pisa, and just a few years later, in 1994, he began to let Cinta Senese cattle graze naturally in the wild, always ensuring the well-being of his animals. Today, he owns approximately 150 animals that graze on 55 hectares at their own pace and without pushing their feeding, slaughtering only when the animals are naturally ready.

The meat is processed only by selected butchers and laboratories that take care of their animals and where the use of chemicals is kept to a minimum. The farm also has its own olive press where organic extra virgin olive oil is produced directly from its own olives. The heat-free press system allows the oil to emerge spontaneously, preserving its original flavor and aroma.
